Ever fancied yourself as an Eva pilot? Well, nows your chance!well…kinda! Japan’s Fuji-Q HighLand amusement park has announced on Wednesday that it will open a new pavilion called “Evangelion: World – Life-Size EVA-01 Construction Project” on July 23. The pavilion will house the world’s first life-size recreation of the scene where the Evangelion anime’s main character Shinji Ikari encounters the Eva-01 unit for the first time. The recreation will have a mockup of the Evangelion  unit from the bust up. The pavilion will also have a life-size cockpit of an Evangelion unit (from where visitors can pay to have their photos taken), a life-size figure of the character Kaworu Nagisa, a video corner, a museum, a studio gallery for taking photographs, and a shop. Fuji-Q HighLand’s website will present the first interim report of the pavilion’s 150-million-yen (about US$1.6 million or GBP£1.1 million) construction on May 26, 2 days after my birthday (big hint )

Zidane, Garnet and the gang are set to join the ranks of Cloud, Tifa, (FFVII) Squall and Rinoa (FFVIII) on the Japanese PSN on May 20th 2010.

Set in the fantasy world of Gaia, Final Fantasy IX‘s plot centers on a war between several nations. Players follow a young thief named Zidane Tribal, who joins with several others to defeat Queen Brahne of Alexandria, who started the war. The plot shifts, however, when the characters realize that Brahne is a puppet for an arms dealer called Kuja.

Hopefully the UK release won’t be far behind as this is one of my favorite Final Fantasies of the series.

As you may, or may not know, LOST season 6, the final season, is almost at its end, in fact we are only 3 friday nights away from it being over, forever! *execute dramatic music*

I for one will miss the series, I did not start watching it 6 years ago when it forst started on Channel 4, last year, yes all 5 years worth of watching was done in a matter of months, it hooked me, dragged me in, and I couldnt let go! So it hasnt always been great, it had its bum moments, but what series doesnt? I just hope they end it well.

Friday 28th May 2010 is set to be the final night, in a 2 and a half hour special, but we all know whats going to happen, it’ll still leave us screaming at the TV as we do end of every season, but this time there will be no return!
